DAY 56 - A slow day on site

Wednesday 10th October, still no brickies or extra bricks.  The kids love climbing up the scaffold though.  I'm sure they would love it to be a permanent fixture to the house :)

A bit more work was done today on the lower roof, the ridge caps were fixed in place as they were just sitting loose before.  I think they were waiting for the bricks & cladding to be finished.  They did what they could and left the last couple next to the walls loose and I guess they will come back to finish that off another day.

A delivery came today - timber and the cladding!   I'm not certain what the timber is for.  I wonder if they build out the cladding to run flush with the bricks.  We also have some timber battens on the front of the house so it may be those too.
