DAY 57 - Imagine what they could do on a sunny day!

This morning it was lightly raining, and forecasted to rain the whole day and a possible storm.  Our neighbours will be happy that there's rain for their water tanks.  It's been very dry so it would be nice to green up a bit.  I don't think we've had decent rain since June.

There's lots of builders junk in our gutters (bits of tiles, wood shavings) so thankfully the downpipes are not connected to the tanks yet.  I hope the plumbers flush them out before they connect into the tanks.  Did I mention we will filter our drinking waters?

I dropped by site to see if anyone was game to work in wet weather.  There were 2 work utes and I could see someone in the ensuite.  Could it be the plasterers?  Upstairs is pretty water tight - still missing some bricks and cladding but fully wrapped and windows are in.  Whereas downstairs still needs doors on the garage and entry.

I don't like to bug the workers so came by this afternoon, hoping perhaps the ensuite had been plastered.  I didn't expect to see this!

Our site supervisor said the plasterers would take approx 12 days.  I think they've made a huge start on the 1st day!  There's still the rest of upstairs, all of downstairs, cornice and architraves, patching and sanding...

141 days left - but I'm sure it won't be that long...
