DAY 61 - More plaster...

Monday 15th October, and the plasterers are hard at work again.  Today the walls downstairs were plasterered and they are beginning to finish it upstairs, though somewhat roughly today.  I ventured in to say hi and thank them for all their work.  Not a real chatty bunch.  I did ask them whether they would be working until the end of next week (I was told it would be about 12 day's work) and the good news is they plan to be finished this week!  So if the other trades are moved up then that's a week saved and brings us closer to moving in before Christmas.

The brickies and guys doing the cladding & eaves still aren't around so not sure what's going on there.  I did let the site super know that there are some large scratches in our master bedroom window frames which we want replaced and also a piece of timber broken off on the stacker door frames.  We're letting him know as we find things hoping that they're fixed and don't delay hand over.

You may notice in the pics the coloured markings on the slab.  The black circles are for aircon duct positions, the 'p d b' markings (depending on which way you look at them) in pink are power points, the green says 'sq set' for the plasterers to know the finish for the room, and there's other markings hard to see for aircon controls.  The plasterers have also written 'wires' on the wall for light switches, data and other cables though I'm not sure who that's for as I think the paint will be done before the sparky comes back.
